DearDIDI Holiday Campaign for Sistering
In the spirit of the holiday season, we are organizing Dear DIDI Holiday campaign for Sistering which provides a basket of basic necessities to a client of Sistering. Each
woman will receive a Winter Survival kit: lip balm, hand cream,
shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, toothpaste, deodorant and
herbal tea, and we will package them up nicely in a reusable container! The cost of each
basket is $149 + tax (including a free $60 item which will be yours to
give to whomever you choose).
SISTERING - serving homeless, marginalized and low income women in Toronto - is an organization I first heard about a few years ago when a friend of mine (Shelley) was on the board. She spoke highly of the work they do and I got to see firsthand the support they provide women who need our help. And Kathryn, also suggested it and it seemed like a perfect match: SISTERING - DIDI - kinda goes together! ;) This may be for you to gift to someone who has it all OR suggest as a company gift OR to pass along to someone who may be interested in helping! Get your neighbours together or a group of friends and pool your funds together for a basket! OR donate an item if you'd like.. I will mix and match for you! Simply email me through the contact button to find out how to get involved. Together we are building a community! THANK YOU TO OUR GENEROUS DONORS!

DearDIDI can help build bridges on how these women can integrate into Canadian mainstream society. It is important the women in these communities feel they have been heard and the relationships that these women experience every day are being addressed.
